Great crowds followed Jesus when he came down from the mountain.
Dear Friends of the Nazarene,
We choose Matthew 8:1 as the theme verse of chapter eight – Miracles and Teachings. Crowds gather as Jesus cleanses a leper. [1-4] An army officer’s servant is healed. [5-13] The mother of Peter’s wife is healed. [14-17] The difficulty of becoming a follower of Jesus is explained. [18-22] Jesus calms a storm at sea. [23-27] In the area of the Gadarenes Jesus heals a demon-possessed man. [28-34]
