And I heard a great voice out of the Divine Habitat,1 [Isaiah 66:6] saying to the 7 angels: “Go and pour out into the earth [Psalm 69:24] the 7 bowls of the anger of The God.” [Numbers 22:22]

Dear Friends of the Nazarene,
We choose Revelation 16:1 as the theme verse of chapter sixteen – The End Has Come! The seven angels leave the Temple to pour out the final plagues on earth. [1] The first five plagues are described. [2-11] They are against those dwelling on earth, the sea, fresh water sources, the sun, and the throne of the Sea Beast. Between plagues 3 and 4 an angel pronounces God innocent in His judgment upon those who spilled the blood of the Saints.
The sixth plague sees the beginning of Armageddon. [12-16] A parenthetical warning is given to the Saints to remain awake. The finale arrives with the seventh angel’s plague and the declaration, “The end has come!” [17-21] There is a global earthquake as Babylon is split apart. Earth’s cities collapse. A great hail occurs while humans – likely those in Babylon – curse God.
Abba our Father bless the Saints who remain awake.
