PS20:1 May Yehowah answer you in the Day of Distress, 130 the Name of the God of Jacob you place out of reach [of your enemies].

Psalm 20:4-9 – May He Save His Messiah

PS20:4 May He give to you in harmony with your own motives, and fulfill all your aspirations. PS20:5 We will raise our voices to Your salvation, and in the Name of our God we will boast. PS20:6 Now I am convinced that Yehowah saves His Messiah. 133 [Yehowah] continues to answer [Messiah] from His holy Celestialum with the powerful saving work 134 of His own right hand.
133 Messiah: Or, Christ, Anointed. The Hebrew is MESHI-CHOH and the Greek KHRISTON. Compare Psalm 2:1 [= Acts 4:24-28] and Isaiah 61:1 [= Luke 4:16].
134 Saving work: Compare Hebrews 5:7.
PS20:7 Some [save] by war-chariots and others by battle horses, but we will prevail by the Name of Yehowah our God. PS20:8 They have collapsed and fallen, but we have risen and stand upright. PS20:9 Yehowah save the king! Answer us, then, on the very day we call out to You.
