THE PROPHET DANIEL
Let the name of The God
become blessed from Eternity into Eternity,
for He alone is possessed of wisdom and power.
He changes times and appointed times,
removing kings and setting up kings,
giving wisdom to those wise
and comprehension to the discerning.
He unveils the hidden depths.
He knows mysteries hidden in the darkness.
Light dwells with Him.
I praise and laud you,
O The God of my forefathers,
because You have given me dynamic wisdom.
And now You have revealed to me
what we requested of you.
– The Prophet Daniel
The following commentary on the Prophet Daniel is a conflate, or combined paraphrase of portions of the prophecies interwoven as understood by the author. Each verse will be identified and placed in the prophetic context. These verses will include Daniel 2:31-45 and Daniel 7:2-26 as well as other portions of Daniel where it is felt they may be correctly inserted to paint one grand prophetic canvas.
The particular focus of this rendering of Daniel is to deal with chapters 2, 7, and 12 and their relationship with the teachings and prophecies of the Christian Bible, particularly the Book of Revelation.
We wish to state that the views presented here are not the only ones on these subjects. It is not intended to criticize other opinions. Each Bible student must make up their own minds regarding these prophecies.
