Messianic Confessions
When I returned from pioneering in Spain two years ago, after spending 43 zealous years (20 as a pioneer and photographic consultant of the Watchtower at Brooklyn Bethel), the rumors that I had been disfellowshipped for adultery, child-abuse or apostasy began to circulate in the JW slander-mill. All were false. I was in ongoing contact with the GB and the writing department and had assignments on the District Convention in Spain, and all these elders were lying about me.
I spent two years virtually alone in mountains and deserts just studying the Bible for myself. Like Luther I discovered my church was wrong. I wrote again to the GB explaining what we had to do as an organization if we did not want to part from Christ. I received no response despite being one of the anointed with an outstanding record. But, the hounds were loosed and elders began to spread more rumors and began to stalk me.
It appears at long last I will be excommunicated this week (1/7/98). I will also make available my letters to the GB as well as my appeal letters to various committees. I think you will find it an interesting story.
Your brother Mark.
