There are those who make promises or otherwise indicate they are going to do something for another but never fulfill their "Yes." Both men and women violate contracts and agreements. Paul counsels to stay away from those who are “covenant-breakers.” [2 Timothy 3:3, 5] The warning of our Master is that those who break their word or promise ‘are from the Wicked One’. Paul may refer to the Master when he uses a similar thought at 2 Corinthians 1:17-20.
